Brief biography:
I accepted an Assistant Professorship of Astronomy at Yale starting in July 1968 immediately after receiving my PhD in Astronomy from Caltech. I spent the next 43 years as a faculty member in the Department of Astronomy at Yale, and I retired in 2011. I had an active research career over those many years, studying topics related to the theory of star formation, with more than 100 publications. (I don't wish to provide personal information.)
