After an internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC and 3 years as a General Medical Officer at the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, I came to New Haven to train in dermatology. After my Chief Resident year, I became Head of Dermatology at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and opened a private practice on Orchard Street. Our practice relocated to the Prince Professional Center in 2019, where I continue to provide general Dermatology services to adults and children with a subspecialty in contact and occupational dermatology. I teach medical students and residents and remain an in-patient hospital consultant. I lived in France during college, becoming fluent in French, and continue to travel widely. I am a photographer and have exhibited my work in galleries locally. I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and watersports. I am a volunteer in our community, serving as a member on the board of the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven, committees at Congregation B'nai Jacob, and was recently elected to the Woodbridge Zoning Board of Appeals. I have two married children in New York City and Washington, DC, and, for the moment, one grand-daughter, age 1, though I am hopeful that more are on the way.
