Albert J. Sinusas

Brief biography: 

I play leadership role at Yale University and nationally in cardiovascular molecular imaging. At Yale I serve as: 1) Director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging, 2) Director of Yale Translational Research Imaging Center (Y-TRIC), supervising the core imaging centers, and 3) Chair of the Yale Radioactive Drug Research Committee (RDRC) and Radiation Safety Committee (RSC). I am board certified in Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT, and fully trained in echocardiography. My research is primarily directed at development, validation and application of non-invasive multimodality and molecular imaging approaches for the assessment of a wide range of cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary diseases. I am a grandfather of 4 and enjoy photography and producing beach glass artwork.
